This Trainer Is Hitting Top Form - The Barking Dog 

Lucinda Russell is hitting form in a week when she saddles One For Arthur in the Grand National. In March Lucinda had a 26 per cent strike rate with nine winners from thirty four runners. Interestingly one one of those ridden by a fully fledged professional rider...Apprentices Blair Campbell, Stephen Mulqueen and Alexander Thorne taking the rides for the stable. The stable notched a double at Kelso a week last Saturday and is well represented on Kelso Card on third of April. It would be wise to consider Lucinda Russells entries and runners in the coming weeks as she usually shows good form at this time of year.

On the Flat as usual Richard Fahey is also in form....he always seems in form! Melesina won a Listed race in France for Richard before the Flat Season on turf kicked off in Britain. Requinto Dawn put Richard on the scoreboard at Doncaster on Saturday but he needs consideration but has many runners and sometimes multiple runners in one race...difficult but not impossible to find winners in these type of races. We must never underestimate Richard Fahey horses and it often pays to back all his runners in one race. A stable high on your lists....and mine!

Jeremy Scott only saddled eleven horses in March but had four winners and his stable is one to have on your radar I feel. Stable jockey Matt Griffiths rode all four winners from eight rides for the yard in March. This better spell of form comes after Jeremy only saddled only one winner during January and February this year. The stable has obviously been under a cloud and is now coming back. Jeremy is based in Somerset and usually does better than so far this year. It may prove prudent to consider his runners this month and during the summer jumping months.
