Wednesday's FREE Tip Is Ready...

12th August 2015

Hi ,

Well the last week two jockeys really hit the headlines. Firstly Ruby Walsh with his superb win on Bashboy in the Australian Grand National. The gelding was winning the race for the third year on the trot.

One has to say Ruby is the only jockey in the World that we can compare to the retired champ A.P. McCoy as no other jump jockeys come anywhere near the talent of these two Irish greats.

The other rider who deserves immense credit is Sammy Jo Bell for her riding in the Shergar Cup where she completed a 55/1 double. Since coming over from Ireland she has ridden mainly for Richard Fahey but I'm sure now there will be many more trainers making use of her talents.

It was also great to see the female team of Emma Jayne Watson, Hayley Turner and Sammy Jo win the cup for the female team but what a blessing we didn't have to hear Clare Balding spout on how superior they were to the men.

Now in the words of John Inverdale Sammy Jo is a bit of a looker and it would be a brilliant idea to promote her as the poster girl of British racing to help attract the younger audience back into our sport.

I have a couple ideas up my sleeve that might excite all readers but before releasing any information about some new "Sexy Betting" that we could all enjoy I will have to discuss them in detail with the guys at BetFan however watch this space!

To me Wednesdays racing is less than average and the only race I could find for Howies Hottie is 9.10 Kempton where Charlies Mate goes for another win. I make it between Charlies Mate and Mr Fickle and the deciding factor is that George Baker had the choice of both and has gone for Charlie.

EYE-CATCHERS

FLAT

Pivotman trainer M.Easterby - He ran placed on ground firmer than ideal recently and on a softer surface can soon be winning.

Uriah Heep trainer A.King - He flew home late at Brighton and I'm sure the trainer will place him to advantage either on the flat or over jumps.

Picansort trainer P.Crate - A good winner at Brighton for all my Betting Opportunity clients off a low turf mark and can win again while conditions are in his favour.

Wiener Valkarie trainer E.Walker - Despite being 100/1 she ran a cracking race to finish 2nd last week and at last is finding her form.

Opal Tiara trainer M.Channon - I backed her last week at big odds but the filly never looked like winning. What I did notice is she has a high knee action and would be suited by softer ground.

Trimoulet trainer D.Kubler - A massive gelding who is lightly raced who landed some hefty bets last week including all of us at Betting Opportunity. It's possible he could chalk up a sequence.

Big Sky trainer M.Bell - Another cracking winner for Betting Opportunity yesterday this improving filly can win again especially when stepped up in trip.

Back next Wednesday have a good week and be lucky.

Howard Davis-Shaw.
