Off The Tee - Golf Genie...

Its back to Europe after the trials and tribulations of the US Open where RORY , Jason Day and Dustin Johnson all had an early bath.

It seems to me more and more that the top players give in quick after a bad start knowing that theres always next week.Rory who should have been able to overpower that course get to 3 over and packed in mentally.He may well win the Open next month but he will not be carrying the Genies moneys and his bragging of his wealth on twitter is a huge turn off.

Great player but still some growing up to do.Jason Day's career is at a crossroads and he looks in big trouble with his swing and with his attitude.He looks a long way from the man who dominated the game as does Jordan Spieth who is becoming nearly as annoying as Danny Willett with the constant commentary he gives and the constant claim he has been incredibly unlucky every hole grates after the hundredth time.

Sky coverage was excellent apart from Darren Clarke who has achieved the impossible and is more annoying than Monty who appears to have been ditched.Butch Harmon was superb and its a shame he can't be on every week and Euan Murray is the best commentator there is on the sport.

So a big week in Germany at the BMW in Munich and I'm taking local hero Martin Kaymer to keep it at home.Kaymer is playing well again after a lean time but this two time Major winner is still a class act and is worthy of a win bet .
